Haystack Fire North of Kadina

ISSUED FOR WALLAROO PLAIN

CFS wishes to advise the public that smoke may be visible near Kadina on the Yorke Peninsula throughout today.

A hay shed spontaneously ignited late yesterday, approximately 6 km north of Kadina. CFS crews are on site and will continue to extinguish the fire today by pulling the hay stack apart. This will cause smoke to be generated by the fire.

Unless the situation changes no further updates will be provided.

Residents are reminded to check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan and stay tuned to your local ABC on a battery-powered radio for any updates
