Amended incident update for Templers fire
ISSUED FOR TEMPLERS
CFS advises that this grass fire is currently contained, however there is a risk that breakouts and flare ups may occur.
Crews will spend this evening consolidating control lines and patrolling the area responding to any flare ups ahead of tomorrow's return to Severe Fire Danger Weather. They are using earthmoving machinery on site, ploughing a break on the northern and southern sides, which may cause a lot of dust in the area.
The fireground is currently within an area north of Angas Road, west of Thiele Highway and south of Templers Road.
To ensure your safety and that of the large number of emergency services personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
Hazards may include reduced visibility due to smoke, fallen trees blocking roads and emergency vehicles operating in the area.
Well prepared homes can provide safety during a Bushfire. Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan.
