Fire in the Gawler River
ISSUED FOR PENFIELD GARDENS
CFS wishes to advise the public that smoke may be visible to the north west of the Angle Vale township on the Adelaide Plains over the next several hours.
A small fire ignited in the Gawler River near McGee Road Penfield Gardens ignited earlier today.
CFS crews will remain onsite and are working in the river bed and on the river banks extinguishing tree stumps and leaf litter which is producing the smoke.
Unless the situation changes no further updates will be provided.
Residents are reminded to check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan and stay tuned to your local ABC on a battery-powered radio for any updates.
