Hay Bale fire at Parilla
ISSUED FOR PARILLA
CFS have responded to reports of a grass fire on a property south of Parilla near Lameroo this morning. Crews arrived to find approximately 150 hay bales alight at the property.
It is expected that this fire will burn for some time, however it does not pose any immediate threat to the local community.
Mineral earth control lines have been constructed around the entire fire with crews remaining on scene today, monitoring until it has burnt down.
Smoke may be present in the area for some time.
