Large Haystack Fire North of Booborowie in the Mid North
ISSUED FOR NORTH BOOBOROWIE
At 03:45am this morning CFS crews and Farm Firefighting Units were responded to a large haystack fire located North of Booborowie in the Mid North of South Australia.
The fire is currently burning through approximately 1400 large bales of hay.
Smoke from this haystack may be visible in the area as crews work to break up and extinguish the hay bales during the day.
It is anticipated that CFS crews will be on scene for the rest of today and into tomorrow.
