Incident Update fot the Nangwarry Fire in the Lower South East
ISSUED FOR NANGWARRY
CFS and Forestry crews have remained at the scrub and plantation forest fire over night building containment lines with heavy machinery, back burning and mopping up the fire edge. Crews will continue to be in attendance at the fire for several more days. The public is asked to be aware of emergency services vehicles operating in and around the Nangwarry area.
Smoke will continue to be visible from the fire for the next few days. The fire currently poses no threat to the public but we are asking the community to be aware of the event.If you see unattended flames call Triple Zero.
