NANGKITA Grass Fire
Issued for NANGKITA near Nangkita Road east of Mount Compass in the Fluerieu Peninsula.
The CFS is responding to grass fire near Mount Compass in the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia.
Approximately 35 CFS firefighters on 7 trucks and a support vehicle are currently working on the fireground, with 6 aircraft, including firebombers and observational aircraft. SA Police and SA Power Networks are also on scene.

The fire is currently burning towards an asset in grassland and scrub with potential to go into hard to access terrain.
Roads have been closed due to this incident, including:
- Nangkita Road, Nangkita.
