Jamestown Hay Shed Fire

ISSUED FOR JAMESTOWN

CFS crews are still in attendance at a hay shed fire on RM Williams Way, Jamestown, in the Mid North of South Australia.

CFS currently have fire trucks and bulk water carriers on scene, along with a water tanker and grader from Northern Areas Council. CFS resources will remain on site today to extinguish and monitor the fire.

A current Smoke Advice message has been issued due to smoke drifting over Jamestown. Smoke from this fire may increase over the next few hours, to allow the hay stack to be pulled apart for suppression activities to take place.
