Hayshed fire at Glenroy in the Lower South East
ISSUED FOR GLENROY
CFS crews are monitoring a hayshed fire on Rabbits road, Glenroy in the area between Bool Lagoon and Coonawarra in the Lower South East.
Five CFS trucks, two bulk water carriers and 25 firefighters attended the scene from 9pm, last night. The fire is now contained within the shed, however, approximately 500 hay bales and equipment have been impacted.
The fire will continue to burn over the next couple of days and is being monitored. Please be aware of smoke in the area and take care if driving in the Coonawarra area.
