Incident Update for the Carriewerloo Fire
ISSUED FOR CARRIEWERLOO
CFS crews are returning to Carriewerloo in order to respond to a fire that has reignited after it was contained last night, 27 October 2021.
The original fire was reported at 3:15PM yesterday, approximately 35km north of Iron Knob in the state's far north. It is believed that the fire was caused by lightning.
Smoke may be visible from the Stuart Highway with potential to impact visibility.
The CFS advises that this fire does not currently pose a threat to the community but the public should be aware that there is a possibility of smoke to be present in the area.
