Incident Update for the Carriewerloo Fire
ISSUED FOR CARRIEWERLOO ROAD, NORTH OF IRON KNOB IN THE NORTH WEST PASTORAL DISTRICT.
The fire ground has been handed back to the land owner. CFS crews will return if the situation changes.
This fire was reported at 3:15PM yesterday, approximately 35km north of Iron Knob in the states Far North. It's believed to have been caused by lightning.
The CFS advises that this fire does not currently pose a threat to the community but the public should be aware that there is a possibility of smoke to be present in the area.
